Teaching & Collections Research on the Illicit Trade, Destruction and Return of Art & Cultural Heritage
Stacey Jessiman teaches at Stanford University and lectures internationally on issues surrounding illicit trade, destruction and return of art, antiquities and Indigenous cultural material. The online and in-person courses she has developed bring into the classroom the voices and perspectives of renowned museum experts and Indigenous cultural practitioners from around the world.
Acting as a consultant, Stacey also offers online and in-person courses for organizations and can tailor course length and content to client needs.​​ She also does provenance research for institutions and private collectors wanting to determine whether there are illicitly acquired works in their collections.
